Steve Hotra is an ordained Pastor of Creative Arts. He is celebrating 11 years of pastoral ministry at Summit View Church, located in Vancouver, WA.
Steve has been involved in Christian music ministry since the mid 1970's where he accepted Christ at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. He has played in churches throughout California with the Full Sail Band. He has ministered at Hume Lake, Forest Home and Pine Summit Christian camos.
He is proficient on vocals ( lead and harmony) acoustic and electric guitars, piano, pedal steel guitar and mandolin.
Steve's deepest desire regarding praise and worship is for people to have an authentic encounter with God. His personal mission statement is "to create a meaningful worship experience that will draw people into the presence of God."
Steve aims to do something that is impossible apart from the Holy Spirit: to model loving God with passion, to skillfully draw seekers (including first-timers) into the joy and release of a God centered life. He desires to lead people into deeper and deeper devotion to the One who gave His life for us.
Steve is available for Worship Arts consultations, training and worship leading at your church.
He believes that worship services should reflect these core values and goals:

* Acceptance of various musical styles
* Encourage inter-generational relationships.
* Passionate and God-centered participation.
