This is my latest musical goal: learn how to play a pedal steel guitar.
I started playing in June 2008.
I bought a used Rittenberry SD 10.
It was built in 2007, right here in the USA by Gary Rittenberry.
The wood is hard rock maple ( 13 years old )
The pickup is a Wallace True Tone.
I play with a BJS steel bar and use my POD X3L for effects.
It has three floor pedals and five knee levers.
Using the floor pedals and knee levers allows you to
produce various chord inversions.
I play into an Atomic Reactor 112-50 watt amp.
Its one of the best amps that goes well with guitar modelers.
I'm listening to the music of Robert Randolph, Paul Franklin, Poco, The Byrds and
The Flying Burrito Bros to get motivated to play.
I'm going back to school with a cool sounding guitar.
